유학생 학력/학위 입증서류 변경안내(13.05.01)
Changes in documents proving Academic background/degree(as of May 1st, 2013)
최근 일부대학 유학생이 위조학위증 등을 제출하고 유학 (어학연수 포함)사증 발급 사례가 증가함에 따라 ‘13.5.1.부터 국내에서 유학 (D-2) 및 어학연수 (D-4-1) 사증발급인정서 및 체류자격변경을 신청하는 경우 아래와 같이 학위 (학력) 입증서류가 변경됨을 알려 드립니다 (단, 재외공관에서 직접 사증을 신청하는 경우 현재와 같이 전화 등의 방법으로 확인).
Due to increase in forged documents submitted in obtaining student Visa(including language training), Ministry of Justice has noticed that they will intensify the student Visa documents from May 1st 2013.
We would like to inform international students that there will be changes in documents proving academic background and academic degree. Please read the below information carefeully if you have a plan to change your visa or apply for Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance in Korea after May 1st, 2013. (If you apply for Visa through Korean embassies in overseas, please confirm via telephone in advance.)
1. 대상 : 법무부장관 고시 21개국 출신 국가 국민 또는 동 국가 소재 대학에서 학위 (학력) 취득한 사람으로 국내에서 유학 (D-2), 어학연수(D-4-1) 사증발급인정서 또는 체류자격 변경 신청을 하는 자

1. Target Applicants: citizens of 21 countries by the Ministry of Justice’s notification or persons who obtained an academic degree in the notified countries and those who apply for D2, D4 Certificate for Confirmation of Visa Issuance(사증발급신청서)

2. 학위 (학력) 입증서류 : 아래 ①,②,③ 중에서 택일
① 아포스티유 (Apostille) 확인을 받은 학위 (학력) 입증서류
② 출신학교가 위치한 국가의 한국영사 또는 주한 출신학교 소재지 국가 공관 영사확인을 받은 학력 등 입증서류
③ 중국교육부 운영 학력․학위인증센터 발행 학력․학위 등 인증보고서 (중국 내 학력․학위 취득자에 한함)
2. Academic Degree(Academic Background) Proving Documents:
- Please choose ONE from the below methods
① Academic Background/Degree after receiving Apostille Confirmation
② Confirmation by the Korean embassy where the graduated school is located OR
embassy of one’s own country(the graduated school is located) in Korea
③ Certification report from the China Ministry of Education Academic Degree/Academic Background Certification Centern(중국 교육부 운영 학력학위 인증센터)(Only students who obtained education in China)
※ 입증 서류는 발급까지 약 30일 가량 소요되므로 미리 신청하여 준비하시기 바랍니다.
