2014 Korean Government Scholarship Program(KGSP) for
International Students for Graduate Courses
Chonnam National University(CNU) is accepting applications for Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) for Graduate Programs. This program is designed to provide higher education in Korea for international students in order to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between the participating countries. If you are interested, download the attached files and send the application by Tuesday, March 25, 2014 via post mail.
1. Application Deadline : All required documents should be delivered to CNU by March 25, 2014

3. Qualifications :
- Applicant and parents must be citizens of the country to which scholarships are offered.
- Under 40 years as of September 1, 2014.
- Hold either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of September 1, 2014.
- GPA 80% (out of 100%) or within top 10% among graduates
- Should have GPA of at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4. 3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale
or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previous attended institution
* (Important) Applicants who have ever enrolled in a university in Korea will be disqualified
from applying to the KGSP program. Specifically, an applicant who has previously enrolled
in an undergraduate program, a master’s program, or a doctoral program in Korea
cannot apply for this program.
4. Scholarship Period :
- Start of Scholarship Program: September 1, 2014
- Master’s(3 yrs): 2014. 9. 1 ~ 2017. 8.31(1 yr of Korean language + 2 yrs. of Master’s)
- Doctoral(4 yrs): 2014. 9. 1 ~ 2018. 8.31(1 yr of Korean language + 3 yrs of Doctoral)
