CNU’s Department of Forensic Medicine of the School of Medicine is providing an internship program for forensic medicine for nationwide medical majors.

According to CNU, the '2020 Winter Internship Program of Forensic Science’ of the CNU Department of Forensic Medicine accepted ten students from seven nationwide medical schools and universities through applications and blind tests.

These students received 1st (January 6-10th) and 2nd (January 13-17th) round training of various forensic medicine programs such as attending an autopsy, visiting the National Forensic Service, and case study analysis.

This program was designed as forensic internships ranked first (17.8%) among the '2019 The Most Wanted Area of Medical Students' surveyed by the Korean Medical Student Association (KMSA). The internship program is conducted by the CNU Department of Forensic Medicine under the auspices of the KMSA.

Since its establishment in September 1993, the CNU Department of Forensic Medicine has produced the largest number of forensic experts among Korean universities through the systematic training of forensic personnel. It has acquired an outstanding reputation in the forensic field, as its graduates have become excellent forensic professionals of the National Forensic Service and in units of the Korea Police Scientific Investigation.
