CNU Sets Up Its 2006 Admission Plan - To Adopt
3+1
System for Human Ecology, Arts, Engineering, and Education, and
2+1
System for the Rest Departments and Majors

Under the 2006 admission plan, CNU will implement 3+1 and 2+1 systems. Among the five inquiry sections of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), CNU will review CSAT’s Korean language, math, and foreign language scores with the score of science studies section (3+1) when selecting students for the College of Human Ecology, the College of Arts, the College of Engineering, and the College of Education. For the rest departments and faculties, the 2+1 system will be reflected in selecting students. Out of the three inquiry sections (Korean language, math, and foreign language), two selected section scores will be reflected. Among three other inquiry sections (social studies, science studies, and vocation), one section may be chosen by applicants. The followings are the departments which select 2+1 system: - College of Human Ecology - College of Arts - College of Engineering: Faculty of Architecture, School of Mechanical Systems Engineering,   School of Civil, Geosystem & Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Materials Science   & Engineering, Dept. of Applied Plant Science, Faculty of Industrial & Electric Engineering - College of Agriculture & Life Sciences: Dept. of Applied Plant Science, Dept of Animal Science,   Dept. of Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering - College of Education: Dept. of Education, Dept. of Ethics Education, Dept. of French Education,   Dept. of Science Education, Dept. of Home Economics Education, Dept. of Music Education,   Dept. of Physical Education The followings are the departments and faculties which select 3+1 system: - College of Business Administration - College of Law - College of Nursing - College of Social Sciences - College of Pharmacy - College of Humanities - College of Natural Scineces - Dept. of General Studies - School of Biological Sciences and Technology - College of Engineering : School of Electronics, Computer & Information Technology - College of Agriculture & Life Sciences : Division of Forest Resources and Landscape   Architecture, Dept. of Agricultural Economics, - College of Education : Dept. of Early Childhood Education, Dept. of Social Science Education,   Dept. of Korean Education, Dept. of English Education, Dept. of Mathematics Education Among 57 student recruiting departments and divisions, 20 adopted ‘2+1’ system and the rest selected ‘3+1.’
