Several Prominent Guest Speakers Lined Up for Special Lectures - Moon Hee-sang, Jee Byung-moon, Hwang Woo-yea, Lee Myong-bak, Huh Sang-kwan, Song Sang-hyun

In May 2005, several prominent guest speakers have already been lined up to give special lectures at CNU. The visitors are Rep. Moon Hee-sang of the ruling Uri Party), Rep. Jee Byung-moon of the ruling Uri Party, Rep. Hwang Woo-yea of the main opposition Grand National Party (GNP), Seoul City Mayor Lee Myong-bak, Former Minister of Government Administration and Home Affairs Huh Sung-kwan, and Judge Song Sang-hyun. Rep. Jee Byung-moon of the ruling Uri Party came to CNU and delivered a lecture under the title of “Directions of the university developments set out by the National Assembly.” He was invited for the Yongbong Forum, which was held at Yongbong Hall of the International Conference Bldg. at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 6. At 7 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, a special lecture will be given by Seoul City Mayor Lee Myong-bak at Moodeung Park Hotel. He will talk on “Challenges and visions for the first-class around the world.” His lecture is prepared as the 21st event of Yongbong Business Administration Forum. On the same day, Judge Song Sang-hyun of the International Criminal Court, professor of Seoul National University (SNU), will deliver a lecture under the title of “Fostering lawyers of the globalization age at 4 p.m. at the faculty meeting room of Law Building. Rep. Hwang Woo-yea of the opposition Grand National Party (GNP) will give a special lecture for the participants of the Executive Program, provided by the Graduate School of Public Administration. His lecture is scheduled at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 12. On May 14, Huh Sung-kwan, former minister of Government Administration and Home Affairs, will visit CNU and deliver a lecture for Yongbong Forum under the title of “State Affairs and Corporate Management.” On May 17, Rep. Moon Hee-sang, chairman of the ruling Uri Party, will visit CNU for Yongbong Forum. His lecture will be given at Yongbong Hall of International Conference Building at 4:30 p.m. CNU has been expanding its special lecture programs including Yongbong Forum events in order to strengthen CNU members’ innovative competencies and enhance their competitiveness.
