CNU Practical Science Class (Director: Lee Sik, Department of Mathematics Education) was selected by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity as an excellent institution among 31 nationwide practical science classes.

According to the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, it evaluated practical science classes with criteria such as ▲ Excellence in program operation strategy based on IPA analysis ▲ Excellence in utilization of actual research reports through various analysis (IPA, AHP, etc.) of education ▲ Efforts to diversify class participants and development of educational programs in accordance with current social issues.

CNU has hosted practical science classes, which is operated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Communication, the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, and Yeosu City, and has been running the practical science class for 15 years. Only 3 or 4 institutions practical science classes have been selected as excellent institutions every year, which proves the excellence of the CNU Practical Science Class.
