A new ‘National University Living Lab Network Platform’, in whose establishment CNU has played a leading role as an operating university, has debuted at the ‘University Living Lab Network Forum’. The platform includes 18 participating universities nationwide.

CNU’s LINC+ (Leaders in INdustry-university Cooperation) Project, directed by Professor Kim Jae-kook of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering held an establishment ceremony at the University Living Lab Network Forum, held in the National Assembly Library Auditorium on July 3.

Twenty institutions including LINC+ initiatives of 18 universities and two university research institutions signed an agreement to form the University Living Lab Network joint project. Welcoming full-fledged operations, the participating institutions discussed possible items for cooperative projects and ways to activate the living lab through the collaboration of universities and industries, showcasing the promising future of this cooperative project.

The ceremony was followed by the 15th Korea Living Lab Network Forum, where participants presented various ideas surrounding the concept of a ‘living lab’ in the perspective of university education and the ideal role of universities in the living lab as a regional development model. The forum was divided into three main sessions: ▲ 'LINC+ and the University Living Lab' (Presented by Choi Tae-jin, Director of the Department of Industry and University Liaison of the National Research Foundation of Korea) ▲ 'Transition of Universities and Living Lab' (Presented by Song Wich-in, Deputy General Researcher of the Science and Technology Policy Institute) ▲ ‘The Living Lab as a Mutual Benefit of Universities and Local Communities’ (Presented by Professor Lee Euy-soo, Director of the LINC + Project at Dongguk University)

To facilitate cooperative networking for the CNU LINC + project, CNU will hold forums with 22 innovative organizations in local communities and share the results and accomplishments of this project with all.
