CNU Selected for the Second-Round University Creative Asset Commercialization Support Project

CNU was selected as one of the second round universities as a result of the stage evaluation of the University Creative Asset Commercialization Support Project' (hereinafter BRIDGE+ Project).

The BRIDGE+ Project is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Foundation and aims to promote convergence technology commercialization through autonomous collaboration between universities, as well as by transferring promising technology of the university.

CNU operated the first-round project and proved to be excellent in developing business models, the establishment of partnerships with local industries through the operation of corporate membership (CNU 100 Club), the discovery of demands, and technology commercialization performance through the representative BRIDGE+ Programs (R&BD planning, BM design, commercialization development, etc.). For the excellent results from the first round project, CNU received 1.1 billion KRW for the second year.
 
Starting this project in 2018, and being selected to continue to the second-round project (March 2020 - February 2023), CNU plans to play a leading role in university technology commercialization by maximizing profit through promising technology commercialization and follow-up reinvestment.
 
President Jeong stated, “The BRIDGE+ Project is an important project that can further the university’s virtuous cycle of technology commercialization. With this opportunity, we will expand the foundation for the creation of new industries by linking the final demands of industries with high-value technologies the university has developed. CNU aims to fulfill its social responsibility by contributing to job creation through industrial-university cooperation."
