Leave of Absence

• Those who wish to have a leave of absence have to receive approval from the Dean of one's undergraduate/graduate college and submit a related online request on CNU's portal site.
• Those who are in the tim semester of the year of entrance cannot apply for a leave of absence, and students other than those cannot apply after the mid-point of the semester. In case of student's illness, he/she is not subject to this policy.
• The term of single leave of absence is two semesters (one year). Those students under inevitable circumstances that hinder one's continuing of study are allowed to extend their term of absence in accordance with Article 34 of School Regulation on the condition that one submits the request for extension prior to the expiration of the leave of absence.

Re-enrollment

• Those who wish to return from his/her leave of absence have to receive approval from the Dean of one's undergraduate/graduate college during the enrollment period for the semester one needs to return and submit a related online request on CNU's portal site.
• Those who do not enroll upon one's completion of absence will be dismissed due to not making one's re-enrollment.
