A start-up game company established by a CNU student club was selected for the Market Creation-type Game Production Support Project governed by the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency.

This project aims to support start-up companies to build the game industry ecosystem in Gwangju, revitalize the local economy, and create high-quality jobs. Selected start-ups will receive 70 million KRW for the development of games.

Reindeers Games, a game company founded by four students of a CNU student club, PIMM (“Passion in My Mind,” Advisory Professor: Lee Chil-Woo, School of Electronics and Computer Engineering), which consists of Jeong Hyun-seok (Department of Software Engineering), Lim Won-bin (Department of Software Engineering), and Kim Min-ki (School of Electronics and Computer Engineering). Reindeers Games presented Tag Hunter, a role-playing game that has an interesting plot and original system for the project, and which was selected in recognition of its development ability and growth potential as a startup company.

Tag Hunter sends the protagonist of the game to hunt for tags of x-objects appearing in the game and apply them to other x-objects, thereby changing the roles of x-objects in various ways. With this ability, players can solve puzzles and defeat enemies, and the path and end of the game change according to their choices, so they can enjoy fun similar to writing a story.

PIMM as a student club is a representative student club of CNU which participates in various on-campus competitions and off-campus support projects every year using games and smartphone application production technology based on advanced software programming techniques. Earlier in this club, another game company, South Paw Games, was established and a game titled Skul was released, which gained popularity in the indie game market.
