CNU will provide free medical checkups including psychological counseling for international students to support their healthy student life abroad. The sessions will take place on June 22 and 29 at Lecture Hall on the 2nd floor of the G&R Hub on campus.
Medical servicies available include ophthalmology, internal medicine, psychiatry, and a comprehensive range of tests and treatments.
Specifically, on June 22, services were provided for internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, orthopedics, radiology (ultrasound), dentistry, intravenous and physical therapy, ophthalmology, and ultrasound (thyroid, abdomen). On June 29, the service focused on psychiatry.
International students who may have had health concerns during their studies but faced difficulties accessing medical care due to various challenges will have the opportunity to consult directly with healthcare professionals on campus without financial worries.
This initiative is organized by Bridge Medical Association, a medical volunteer NGO group with 15 specialists and 40 student volunteers.
Last year, over 80 foreign students benefited from health checkups in a single day, expressing satisfaction with consultations and treatments by specialists. With this year's expansion to medical clinics for two days, even more foreign students are expected to benefit from medical services.
