CNU held its entrance ceremony for the 2025 academic year at 2 PM on February 28 at Minjumaru, officially welcoming the new students.

The new students for the 2025 academic year include 5,196 undergraduates, 1,166 master’s students, and 294 doctoral students, totaling 6,656.

The entrance ceremony included the declaration of admission by the Dean of Academic Affairs, a speech by President Lee, congratulatory remarks by Ryu Hye-kyung, the President of CNU’s Alumni Association, and the presentation of various awards, including academic achievement awards. During the ceremony, a surprise congratulatory performance for the new students was given by President Lee and other faculty members, staff, and current students, captivating the audience.

The performance, featuring Park Hak-gi’s "Beautiful World," sent a message about creating a beautiful world at CNU together with the new students, and received great applause. The ceremony offered a special experience not seen in previous entrance ceremonies, creating unforgettable memories for the incoming students.
In his congratulatory speech, President Lee stated, "I am proud of you for overcoming challenges and being here today. Thank you so much for choosing CNU from among many universities. On behalf of the entire university community, I warmly welcome you." He also encouraged the students, saying, "There will be tough moments during your university life, but I hope you will grow by moving forward together and supporting one another."
President Ryu of CNU’s Alumni Association also warmly welcomed the new students, expressing excitement for the future they will create at CNU.
