CNU's Yeosu campus has invested approximately 300 million KRW to establish a “Student Employment & Start-up Career Hub” to strengthen students' capabilities in employment and start-ups.
The newly established Career Hub is located on the first floor of the Industry-Academic Research Building, covering an area of about 180㎡ and includes spaces for employment and start-up education, idea meetings, and business consulting. On the fifth floor, a 70㎡ space for employment, a start-up practice room, and an operation room have been set up, providing students with the facilities to practice creative ideas and receive expert assistance.
This project was initiated as part of the University's Educational Innovation Headquarters initiative under the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform, and the operation will be handled by the Yeosu Start-up Incubation Center. The Incubation Center plans to offer a variety of programs such as support for employment and start-ups, discovering start-up clubs, and expert consulting to enhance students' employment and start-up capabilities at Yeosu Campus.
The Yeosu Start-up Incubation Center, responsible for supporting student entrepreneurship and regional start-up businesses, will continue to facilitate industry-academia cooperation and customized educational programs to expand career development and employment opportunities for students.
