On September 5, CNU signed a memorandum of understanding with Jeollanam-do, Goheung County, the Korea Conformity Laboratories, and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute to activate the aviation industry.
The five signatories promised to collaborate to successfully implement a project for establishing an evaluation basis for electric propulsion systems for eco-friendly aircraft, contributing to the development of the regional aviation industry.
CNU, along with the Korea Conformity Laboratories and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, plans to establish an evaluation basis for eco-friendly aircraft electric propulsion systems, including UAM/AAM, with a total support of 19.64 billion KRW, including 10 billion KRW from the government, over the next five years until 2028.
