CNU has been recognized for providing the highest average scholarship amount per student among national universities.

According to the "2024 August University Information Disclosure Results" released on Academyinfo by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Council for University Education, CNU awarded an average annual scholarship of 3,047,000 KRW per student in 2023.

This amount surpasses the average of 2,924,000 KRW for national flagship universities, making it the highest among them.

The university also provided an average of 2,368,000 KRW in external scholarships from national and local governments, exceeding the national average of 2,189,000 KRW and ranking first among national universities.

Considering that the average tuition fee per student at CNU in 2023 was 4,157,000 KRW, the scholarships covered over 73% of tuition costs.

The university attributes the increase in scholarship amounts to efforts in discovering new scholarship opportunities and improving internal policies for more chances for students.

President Jung stated, "Our efforts to expand financial support for students as a national university have yielded positive results. We will continue to work towards improving the educational conditions for our students."
