The Yeosu Campus Innovation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Committee) was launched in order for CNU to develop the Yeosu Campus and to strengthen cooperation with the local community.

President Jung presided over the kick-off meeting of the Innovation Committee in the Conference Room on the Yeosu Campus on the March 22nd and discussed future operation plans. As an official platform for issues of the Yeosu Campus, the Innovation Committee decided to prepare action plans to improve performance indicators based on the internal development plan that has been established so far, and provide advice to the executive department.

In addition, the Innovation Committee has decided to prepare a future-oriented innovation plan in accordance with the rapidly changing educational environment.

Professor Park Bok-jae (Department of Global Business) took over the chairmanship of the innovation committee. Innovative committee members consist of ▲ Kim Eun-sik (Department of Environmental System Engineering), ▲ Lee Chang-moon (Division of Health Care Medical Engineering), ▲ Kim Kwang-jun (Division of Electrical, Electronic Communication, and Computer Engineering), ▲ Bae Jong-wook (Department of Logistics and Transportation), ▲ Min-Seok Yoon (Division of Cultural Contents), ▲ Jang Deok-jong (Department of Marine Police), ▲ Jeong Seon-hee (Department of Marine Biofood), and ▲Professor Cho Seong-joon (School of Chemical Engineering of the College of Engineering).

President Jung said, “The development of the university can achieve greater results when it is aligned with the local community. We ask the Innovation Committee to establish a specialized development plan for the Yeosu Campus for sustainability and to prepare a plan for active cooperation with the local community."
