Professor Kwon Kyee-yum (Department of Early Childhood Education) donated 20 million KRW to the university development fund.

Professor Kwon said on September 8th, “I decided to donate before starting my sabbatical year because I wanted to express my gratitude to the school where I have been working for 10 years since I was appointed to CNU. I hope more financial support programs will be provided to students who are studying and preparing for employment.”

President Jung said, “The university is grateful for the fact that Professor Kwon showed her gratitude to commemorate the 10th year of her tenure. We will bolster the support system for students, such as mentoring programs, in recognition of Professor Kwon’s suggestion.”

Professor Kwon was appointed to CNU in 2011. She received a BA in Economics from Ewha Womans University, another BA from Keimyung College University, an MA from Keimyung University, and a PhD in Early Childhood Education from Columbia University.
