The CNU College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (Dean: Professor Kim Tae-ho) decided to give an academic award to academics and researchers who contributed to the development of the fishery and maritime sector, and an Achievement Award to those who have made progress in revitalizing the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences.

Nominations are accepted until April 8th with a letter of recommendation, an official record, an official summary, and supporting materials submitted to the CNU College of Fisheries Ocean Sciences.

In-person visits, as well as postal and e-mail (h527731@nate.com) submissions are also possible.
 
The academic award is for faculty members who have been at the CNU College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences for more than 3 years and submitted excellent research achievements such as academic papers and patents within the last 3 years.

The Achievement Award can be awarded to anyone who has contributed to the development of fisheries and ocean sciences.
 
Each winner will receive a prize of 1 million KRW.
 
Dean Kim said, “The CNU Yeosu Campus has been specialized throughout its 100-year history in fishery and ocean research. In order to express our gratitude, we established the Fisheries and Ocean Sciences Awards.”
