Professor Han Eun-mi (School of Chemical Engineering) was elected as the president of CNU General Faculty Meeting.

According to CNU, Professor Han was elected with the largest number of votes at 825 out of 1,180 from full-time faculty members in the election of the 41st president of the CNU General Faculty Meeting held on August 10,

The Election Commission for the President of the CNU General Faculty Meeting (Chairman: Professor Shin Hae-jin) announced, "On election day, 69.9% of all voters participated in the online voting process, showing a high turnout. Candidates and the commission agreed not to reveal the final polling score.” 

Professor Han has served as the Vice President of CNU and the 39th Senior Vice President of the General Faculty Meeting. She also has been worked for the National Science and Technology Council, the Regional Science and Technology Promotion Association, and the Korean Academy of Engineering.

The term of the new president of the CNU General Faculty Meeting is for two years starting from September 1, 2021.
