Chonnam National University operates various systems to ensure fair opportunities for all students. In particular, according to Article 26-2 of the university’s regulations, those involved in the admissions process must perform their duties diligently and fairly. This regulation was newly established on May 1, 2020.

Additionally, the university operates the Admissions Fairness Management Countermeasure Committee, which is responsible for establishing measures to prevent admission fraud, overseeing the management of admissions staff and facilities, handling appeals from applicants, and conducting audits of the admissions process to ensure fairness.

These systems apply equally to all students, regardless of gender, and ensure a fair and transparent admissions process. In 2023, 53.8% of new students were female, making up the majority of the incoming class.
