In particular, the committee works with the Student Affairs Office’s Scholarship Team to provide financial aid, including scholarships and other financial support for students facing economic difficulties. Additionally, counseling services and career guidance are available.

Furthermore, the university cooperates with the Student Counseling Center, the Career Support Office, and the Educational Innovation Office to address students' psychological, academic, and career challenges through various programs. These programs include psychological counseling, academic skill enhancement programs, career counseling, and employment support, all tailored to meet the individual needs of students.

Top priority is given to National Merit recipients, disabled students, students who have aged out of care, recipients of the national basic living security, students from the next higher income bracket, and international students, ensuring that they do not face interruptions in their studies due to housing issues.

In addition, the dormitories offer various support programs to help students balance their academic and personal lives. These include counseling programs to assist with dormitory life adjustment, education on dormitory regulations, and a range of social exchange activities, providing both emotional and social support for the residents.

Additionally, Chonnam National University operates a learning mentoring program in conjunction with the Learning Dream Center, where senior students support and provide advice to their juniors.
