[Yongbong Forum]
The Yongbong Forum of Chonnam National University is a signature event that brings together prominent figures from various sectors to discuss current social issues and knowledge.
Experts from the political and business circles, educational field, and social and cultural sectors have participated, providing opportunities for communication and cultural enhancement to the university members and local residents.

[Education for Korean Learners of Korean Descent]
The Department of Korean Language and Literature at Chonnam National University, under the BK21 FOUR program, invited Professor An Jungmin from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies to hold the 4th Public Practice Class.
The online lecture focused on 'Korean Language Education for Learners of Korean Descent,' where Professor An examined the identity of Koreans of Korean descent, the patterns of heritage language use, and educational characteristics of the Korean language.

[Creative Design Camp for Gifted Students in Honam and Chungcheong]
The Science Education Center for the Gifted at Chonnam National University conducted the 'Creative Design Camp' online three times until February 12th.
During this camp, held over winter break, around 160 gifted students from nine universities in the Honam and Chungcheong regions participated for six hours a day over two days.
The camp, conducted remotely, included projects that utilized TRIZ to develop creative solutions, identify contradictions in problems, and learn to overcome these contradictions using the separation principle.

[2022 Korean Language Festival]
Chonnam National University held the 'Korean Language Festival' targeting foreign students, foreign faculty, and foreigners living in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do.
On November 17th, the Language Education Center of Chonnam National University held various programs such as a Korean language speech contest and the Challenge Korean Language Golden Bell in front of the Democracy Square on campus, providing a joyful time for the participants.
