The Climate Protection Specialist Training for Professionals, conducted in August 2023, aimed to prepare Yeosu for hosting COP33 and to enhance climate change response by educating participants on carbon neutrality and greenhouse gas reduction. The program, organized by Jeonnam Green Environment Support Center and Yeosu YMCA, included 17 hours of training (6 hours online, 11 hours in-person) and was attended by 37 participants, including 17 instructors. With a satisfaction rate of 92%, the program significantly contributed to improving the teaching capabilities of local instructors and raising environmental awareness among citizens, supporting the goal of achieving 2050 carbon neutrality.

1-3.Climate Protection Specialist Training [Citizens]
The Climate Protection Specialist Training for Citizens was conducted from June 26 to July 31, 2023, to support Yeosu's bid for COP33 and promote carbon neutrality and greenhouse gas reduction. Organized by the Jeonnam Green Environment Support Center, the training included 18 hours of both online and in-person sessions, with 54 out of 60 participants completing the program. With a 92% satisfaction rate, the training improved participants' understanding of climate protection and prepared them to contribute to environmental movements and practices. The program also emphasized the role of citizens in achieving 2050 carbon neutrality.

1-4.2023 Environmental Monitoring Officials Capacity Building Training Report
The Environmental Monitoring Officials Capacity Building Training, held on April 28, 2023, aimed to enhance the expertise and job performance of local environmental officials in Jeollanam-do. The training covered key topics such as updates to environmental laws, inspection techniques for pollutant-emitting businesses, and response procedures for water pollution incidents. The program also included hands-on sessions on sampling methods for air, noise, and odor pollution. With around 70 participants, the training improved the officials' ability to oversee environmental issues and respond to pollution incidents effectively, contributing to better environmental protection in the region.

The Inter-floor Noise Consultant Training was conducted from June 7 to July 6, 2023, to prevent disputes and manage inter-floor noise issues in apartment complexes. The training targeted apartment management staff and residents, focusing on dispute prevention and management strategies. A total of 33 participants attended the 10-hour program, with 29 completing the course. The training emphasized the importance of proactive noise management, and participants expressed a high satisfaction rate (97%), with 94% finding the course useful for acquiring knowledge. 1-6.Air Sector Environmental Officer Capacity Building Training Report
The Air Sector Environmental Officer Capacity Building Training was held from August 23 to 24, 2023, focusing on improving the understanding and management of air pollution control measures in the Yeosu Industrial Complex. The training, consisting of six lectures over 14 hours, was attended by 11 participants from companies like BASF Korea, Kumho P&B, and Lotte Chemical. The program covered topics on emission limits and practical exercises on monitoring air pollutants. Participants expressed high satisfaction (100%) and indicated the need for additional practical training. From November 27 to December 6, 2023, advanced training was conducted for 16 graduates of the Carbon Neutral Environmental Instructor Training course. The training focused on improving teaching skills, lesson planning, presentation design, and use of teaching materials.
