CNU has a great opportunity given by Korean government to invite foreign students who are pursuing in studying
their master's or doctorate degree in Korea.
Here is the Korean Government Scholarship benefits. Scope of support is as below;
- Tuition
- Living expenses: 900,000won(around 800USD) per month
- Reserve fund: 200,000won(around 180USD) on their arrival.
- Roundtrip Airfares
- Research fund: 210,000won(around 187USD) per semester
- Medical Insurance: Full coverage during his/her stay
- Support Period: - MA/MS (Sept. 1, 2013-Aug.31, 2016): Korean Language 1yr + Course Work 2 yrs
- Ph.D (Sept. 1, 2013-Aug.31, 2017): Korean Language 1yr + Course Work 3 yrs
Please note that those who are currently attending a university in Korea are NOT allowed to apply for this scholarship.
The original application form as given in the guideline attached and all required materials should be delivered to
Ms. Shinhye Kang by March 27th, Wednesday via courier. We do NOT accept any scanned copy.
CNU will recommend twenty high qualified applicants to the government and they will make the final decision in June.
