CNU is leading the training of future automobile specialists. CNU has been selected for the Future Automobile Technology Convergence Innovation Talent Development Project, organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy. The project will receive 1.4 billion KRW in government funding over two years.

As part of the project, CNU plans to lead the national strategic industry through innovative convergence education on future car innovation and cultivate practical and creative experts. The project involves the participation of 30 professors and over 100 students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Intelligent Mobility Convergence.

The education program will be conducted based on two tracks: eco-friendly future cars and smart future cars. The program includes ▲ development and operation of a core education curriculum for future car technology, ▲ customized industry-academia programs for practical integration, and ▲ the establishment of a sustainable connection with the supply of future car specialists.

The Future Automobile Technology Convergence Innovation Talent Development Project aims to foster innovative graduates who can adapt to the changing industrial and economic structure in emerging industries. It supports the improvement and specialization of universities in the field of future cars, as the industry transitions from internal combustion engines to future cars with advanced technology convergence in mechanical, electronic, IT, and software fields.
