The College of Culture and Social Sciences, with Dr. Han Byeong-Se at the helm, held a meeting with international students in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building on September 14. This meeting was planned to remind the meaning of family, further explain the meaning of traditional Korean culture and mutual understanding of each other, before having Chuseok. All 56 international students in the College participated in the occasion and showed warm and favorable responses. At the meeting, several faculty members, including the Dean and Vice Dean of the College and Director of Administration, attended and had meaningful discussions over securing international students-only space, extended scholarship/welfare, constitution of self-governing body, and other topics. Also, gifts were distributed to international students, while celebrating the meaning of Chuseok.
