The Ministry of National Defense decided to run a female ROTC program (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) and selected CNU as one of the exemplary universities. Accordingly, the university will select officer candidates every year and have first second lieutenant through the ROTC program in 2013. Applications will be available by October 22 and successful applicants will be announced in November. The regular training course will commence next January. CNU will relocate its current ROTC building to secure an independent area for military education and living of female officer candidates. Also, it will select a female discipline officer who has retired from regular military service.
