CNU hired John Gerard Fisher, an English scholar, an assistant professor in Department of Materials Science. Prof. Fisher earned his Ph. D. in Green Energy Materials at the University of Sheffield and had his first relationship with Korea by working at Korea Institute of Energy Research in 1999. After that, he was a trainee-researcher at Applied Sciences Research Center at KAIST, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He also worked as a visiting scholar at Department of Materials Science and as a research-assistant professor at Nano-interface Research Center at the same institute. Especially, most of his papers are well-recognized in SCI Top 10% Journals and this led to close attention from related academic circles. He has been conducting continuous research exchanges with professors at CNU.
