CNU gathered public attention for conducting very strict screening procedures, continuing from the last year\\
s one. To secure faculty members of excellence, CNU set up a screening procedure where applicants are selected at the discretion of seven juries and only if more than four of them agree. Out of 11 new faculty members, seven are from undergrad departments at other universities, such as CNU, KAIST and SKKU, and three obtained their Doctor\\
s Degree at University of Louisiana, U.S.A., Cardiff University, U.K., and Tsukuba University, Japan.
