At 1:40 p.m. on May 20, CNU President Kang Jung-chae and MU Chancellor Deaton signed an agreement for extending mutual cooperation for student exchanges and Korean summer program. Since 1978, when the two institutions established cooperation ties, CNU and MU have strengthened the bond for the last thirty years. Based on the signed agreement, the two universities will promote the exchange activities and strengthen the ties. According to the new singed agreement, CNU can send three students to MU annually and the exchange students’ tuition and other fees will be waived. CNU will provide the Korean summer program for the MU faculty members and students as well. From June 21 through July 20, ten MU people will be invited to CNU and participate in the program focusing on ‘A Study on Multi-cultures and Family’ and ‘Korean Studies.’ Starting this year, ‘3+1’ dual degree program has been offered for the Agriculture and Life Science students.
