An agreement for exchange and cooperation in education/research fields was made between Presidents Lee Ki-su of Korea University and Kim Yoon-soo of CNU at the President's Office at Korea University on Jan 18th. According to the agreement, the two universities have come to establish a cooperation system for faculty member/students exchange, shared sponsoring of joint research and academic symposiums, mutual exchange of academic data, publications and information and use of campus facilities. President Kim Yoon-soo explains, “The agreement is very meaningful for both universities, one a renowned private university and the other a national university with a milestone for building a new and better cooperative relationship. We can share programs for developing excellent human resources and design a road map of science/technology that is both revolutionary and innovative.” President Lee Ki-su also mentioned that, “Korea University expects to have joint research in various fields such as medical science and engineering.”
