President Kim Yoon-soo hired Tom Tran, a Professor in the Department of Energy and Resources Engineering in the College of Engineering on Dec 1st.

Prof. Tran, formerly a Professor at the University of New South Wales, has made outstanding achievements in the field of resources collection and application for the last 20 years after earning his Doctor's degree in chemical engineering at the same university. He published more than 100 academic papers on SCI (Science Citation Index) and SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), domestic/international journals, and has taken initiatives in researching and promoting economic theories, policies, systems and industries related with natural resources and the environment.
