Park Won in the doctoral program in the Department of Practical Botany and Jang Ha-Young in the joint master program of bio-energy and bio-material won the award at the 2009 Fall academic meeting of the Korean Society of Crop Science. Park published his paper on 'Role of Tonoplast P1B-type ATPases (HMA3) as a Pb/Cd/Zn/Co Transporter in Arabidopsis Thaliana' and Jang on 'Sap Flow Rate and Role of Aquaporin (JcPIP2) under Salt and Drought Stresses in Jatropha'. Prof. Ahn Sung-Ju, their academic advisor in the Department of Plant Biotechnology has outstanding performances for presenting excellent papers. He has won awards four times in a row from the Society.
