College of Business Administration Selected as the Best College at the Assessment of College Vision Plans

At the assessment of the vision plans drawn up by each college for its future development, the College of Business Administration was ranked 1st among 14 colleges at CNU. The Business Administration College earned high marks at every assessment category: college vision, administration policy, education, research, and development plan.University could spend budgets more efficiently on the basis of the plan execution. Another important component of a comprehensive college development plan is assessment of the programs. For this reason, CNU also prepared an assessment meeting along with the explanation meeting. Base on the presentations made by each college, the college plans were reviewed for their effectiveness. In the assessment category of college administration, the College of Business Administration introduced a new
academy complex system
, which can bring out maximum benefit in using seminar and lecture rooms. The College also improves administrative services through role assignments for administrative staff and teaching assistants. For the improvement of education category, the College offers some major courses in English and it is also pushing ahead to be granted AACSB International accreditation, which assures quality and promotes excellence and continuous improvement in undergraduate and graduate education for business administration and accounting. Besides these measures, the College adopts a curriculum tack system, employment guidance program, interdisciplinary study program, and academic guidance program for its future development. These strategies made the Business Administration College earning good grades at the assessment. For the development of research field, many financial support programs for research activities produced good points. Besides these numerous strategies, the College is also exerting its efforts to promote cooperative relations with other institutions in nation and abroad. The research institutes and centers, including Regional Development Research Center, Management Research Center, ECRC, and Call Center, have been strengthening its ties with other institutes to expand their research capabilities. Based on a wide range of development plans, the College of Business Administration was ranked 1st at the assessment. CNU expects this assessment can encourage each college to contribute all-out efforts for its development through administration reform, educational curriculum development, and the improvement of educational environments. In the end, these efforts will surely result in the development of university itself.
