CNU appointed 11 students as the 20th group of CNU student ambassadors to provide assistance to campus tours of international prospective students and domestic high school students, and other public relations campaigns for CNU admissions

The new CNU student ambassadors received their letters of appointment from President Jeong on May 29 for their two-year terms. The newly designated CNU student ambassadors include five male students and six female students including two students from the CNU Yeosu Campus.

The CNU student ambassadors will participate in various activities for public relations to improve CNU’s image such as campus tours, public relations on admissions, and publishing brochures for public relations. In addition, the CNU student ambassadors will take part in the campus tour for international students to enhance CNU’s global competence.

CNU has selected about 15 student ambassadors every year since its first term in 2000 and has included 280 students over 20 years so far. It is a practical opportunity for self-development and scholarship benefits, and thus very popular among students.

President Jeong stated, “The CNU student ambassadors are expected to have pride and responsibilities as representatives of CNU. We are also anticipating looking forward to expecting active public relations activities using social media.”
