Fifty-two professors from CNU have been selected as among the top 2% of global scientists.

According to CNU, 52 CNU professors were included in the list of the 2022 Global Top 2% Scientists announced by Elsevier, a global information analytics company, and Stanford University in the U.S.

The Top 2% Scientists are selected based on the influence of their papers calculated from the citation index provided by the SCOPUS Database, targeting researchers worldwide who have published at least five papers in each of the 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields.

At CNU, 24 researchers were recognized based on their lifetime achievements, and 47 researchers were ranked in the top 2% for the year 2022 alone.

In particular, 19 researchers met both the criteria of lifetime achievements and of the year 2022, reaffirming the university's research level and capability at a global standard.
