CNU held ‘Summer Camp’ from July 4 (Thursday) to 8 (Tuesday) for 60 participants including students, teachers, and parents of the international class of Wenzhou 14th Middle School in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. CNU has supported the class, which prepares prospective international students, as a part of an ongoing cooperative project with Wenzhou 14th Middle School.

The summer camp provided participants with opportunities to experience campus life and local culture, especially for students who want to enter CNU’s Gwangju and Yeosu campuses.

The Gwangju Metropolitan City government begun to support this program from this year, adding K-Pop dance, Taekwondo, and Korean food classes to help participants experience more diverse aspects of Korean culture more diversely.

To start this program, CNU and Wenzhou 14th Middle School held a welcoming ceremony to enhance mutual understanding in the Seminar Room on the first floor of G&R Hub on July 4.

CNU has reinforced its cooperative relationship with Wenzhou, which is one of sister cities with Gwangju Metropolitan City, by supporting the international class in Wenzhou 14th Middle school’s international class and admitting outstanding students.
