CNU is actively working on strengthening its alumni network, particularly in Wenzhou, China, to bolster its global presence.

In August, a delegation from CNU, including Professor Kook Min-suk, Director of the Global Cooperation Division, Professor Lee Myoung-gyu, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Professor Kim Jae-yun, Director of Planning and Coordination, traveled to Wenzhou, China, to meet with local alumni. This visit marked the second alumni meeting with the graduates residing in the area, fostering a sense of connection with their alma mater.

This meeting included approximately ten alumni, among them Professor Jin Litai, Director of the International Education Department of Wenzhou Medical University, who is a Ph.D. graduate from CNU's College of Pharmacy.

CNU’s Wenzhou-based alumni are mainly professionals in leadership roles, with over 25 members being actively engaged in various positions within their community.

CNU has been focusing on expanding its network with alumni worldwide, not just in China but also in the United States and Vietnam. The goal is to build a stronger global network of alumni and promote the establishment of international campuses based on these connections.

Previously, President Jung met with Chinese alumni in May and various alumni associations, including those in Southern California and New York in January, encouraging pride and solidarity as CNU alumni among its graduates.
