CNU has signed a tripartite business agreement with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) to nurture high-tech talent.

CNU, Adam Mickiewicz University, and KIAT agreed to cooperate in fostering experts in advanced industries, including semiconductors, batteries, and bio-related fields.

In particular, the agreement between CNU and Adam Mickiewicz University marks their first exchange agreement. The two universities will expand academic and educational exchanges, including student exchange programs and 3+1 dual degree programs, and take the lead in cultivating core research personnel in both Korea and Poland. KIAT will support joint projects in advanced industry fields between the two universities and companies.

The signing ceremony was attended by President Jung, Rafal Witkowski, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Adam Mickiewicz University, and President Min Byung-joo of KIAT, as well as Lee Chang-yang, Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy of Korea, and Waldemar Buda, Minister of Economic Development, Labor and Technology of Poland. Bringing together hundreds of representatives from countries, the official event demonstrated both countries’ expectations for the tripartite agreement.

This business agreement is one of the 33 business agreements concluded during the Korea-Poland Business Forum held in Warsaw, Poland, on July 14 (local time). It opens the way for the development of comprehensive and long-term cooperation between Korea and Poland, extending beyond existing economic fields to include education and core talent cultivation. President Jung took a leading role in expanding educational exchanges by attending the business forum, emphasizing the importance of the agreement.

President Jung said, “Through this tripartite agreement, CNU and Adam Mickiewicz University will play a core role in the growth of advanced industries in both countries. We hope both universities will consolidate their excellent educational and research capabilities to jointly pursue the common goal of cultivating future talent.”
