In celebration of the 70th anniversary of its founding, CNU set out a campaign to find photographs that contain the history of the university.

CNU's 70th Anniversary Archiving Committee (Chairperson: Professor Kim Byung-in, Department of History) called for any photographs that are related to CNU. Citizens can send photographs via e-mail (sahakdo@gmail.com) from December 20, 2021, to January 28, 2022, regardless of where or when they were taken. A gift will be given to the donor.

Previously, CNU decided to compile a photo collection <Chonnam University's 100 Years with Locals> to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the school's opening. This campaign will be conducted along with various efforts to gather photographs which are available on campus. 

The committee said, “The 100-year history of CNU will be newly recorded by the precious photos of local residents and alumni. We ask for participation for the compilation project that looks back at the past 100 years of the development of CNU, which was with local communities as long and looks forward to another 100 years to come.”
