The election of the CNU Student Council and the CNU Female Student Council will take place on November 19. A total of three teams have completed candidate registrations by Nov. 3. The candidates running for President of the Student Council are Kim Seong-jin (Senior, Dept. of Law) and Shim Jin (Senior, Dept. of Physics); Moon Yong-deuk (Junior, Dept. of Political Science) and Chung Dae-hwan (Sophomore, Dept. of Business Administration); and Lee Kyong-jin (Junior, Dept. of Business Administration) and Kim Bum-kyu (Senior, Dept. of Electronics Computer & Information Engineering). Choi-Choi Young-soon (Senior, Division of Applied Plant Science) and Cha-Kim Jin-a (Sophomore, Dept. of Economics) ran for President of the Female Student Council. On the same day, there will be elections of seven College Student Councils (Business Administration, Engineering, Agriculture & Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Humanities, and Natural Sciences) among a total of fourteen colleges. The Colleges of Business Administration and Natural Sciences have two teams to compete the race. Five other colleges have only one candidate, therefore the votes of pros and cons will be conducted.
