The five national universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam, cooperating to establish a collaborative university system, will hold a series of workshops for the university consortium system at CNU. The workshops were arranged to organize faculty members
associations for each field of specialization, selected by each university for the consortium system. The workshops will be held at nine different places including the A/V Room of Yongbong Culture Center and lecture rooms. The five universities (Mokpo National University, Mokpo National Maritime University, Sunchon National University, Yosu National University, and CNU) are concentrating their cooperative efforts to cultivate specialization fields of research and education, which will hold sway over the destines and future of the universities. Professors specializing in various fields of research will take part in the works in order to discuss strategies for the university specialization programs. At 2 p.m. the workshops will begin at the A/V Room with an explanatory meeting and from 3 p.m. sectional meetings will be held at each classroom.
