The five national universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam, which agreed to establish a collaborative university system, held a sports event for their staff members. The event was held at Jangseong Camp on Oct. 24th. Including CNU, Mokpo National University, Mokpo National Maritime University, Sunchon National University, and Yosu National University have cooperated to establish a university consortium to consolidate and increase educational collaboration, and to build a firm foundation on which to move forward. The sports event was prepared to increase partnerships among the university staff members and to promote friendships. At 11 a.m., there was a briefing to introduce the consortium project and detailed plans for the staff members, taking part in the event. After the briefing, they climbed up the Mt. Ibam, located behind the Jangseong Camp.
