Commencement and Admission Ceremonies Held at Each College

Starting this year, CNU will have divisional commencement ceremonies and admission ceremonies at each college. The university-wide commencement ceremony, prepared and administered by the University Administration, was not preferred by graduates, freshmen, and professors as well. In order to encourage the participation of the members, the University Administration decided to hold college divisional ceremonies.
Some colleges have a schedule to host freshmen welcoming ceremonies along with the student orientation session. Therefore, there are some admission ceremonies which will be held ahead of the commencement ceremonies. For the College of Engineering, the commencement ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 24 and the admission ceremony will be held from February 15 through 17 by each department. The College of Natural Sciences will have the admission ceremony and the orientation together on February 16. Its commencement will be held on February 27. As for the College of Business Administration, the orientation and welcoming ceremony for the newly admitted students will be held on February 17 and 18, while its commencement is scheduled on February 24. Every college is making efforts to encourage more students and visitors to attend the ceremony.
The schedules of the divisional commencement ceremonies and admission ceremonies are as follows:

  • College of Nursing Science: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24 at Main Auditorium, Myonghak Hall
  • College of Business Administration: 11 a.m. on Friday, February 24 at Small Auditorium of the college
  • College of Engineering: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 24 at Yongbong Hall
  • College of Agriculture & Life Sciences: 11 a.m. on Friday, February 24 at Main Auditorium of the College

  • College of Nursing Science: 2 p.m. on Monday, February 27 at Main Auditorium, Myonghak Hall
  • College of Business Administration: February 17- 18 at Small Auditorium of the college and Namwon area (orientation to be given simultaneously)
  • College of Engineering: February 15-17 (orientation to be given simultaneously)
