Nine CNU graduates passed the 2003 CPA examination, offered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It is a professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants and its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public as well as employers and clients. In fulfilling its mission, the AICPA works with state CPA organizations and gives priority to those areas where public reliance on CPA skills is most significant. Prof. Kim Jae-jeon, Dean of Business Administration, reported that nine graduates passed the whole sections of the examination and three succeeded in passing some sections of the examination. The figure of the exam passers shows a constant increase as years go by. In May 2000, only one student passed the AICPA exam. In Nov. 2000, three succeeded and in May 2001 three finally passed the exam. In 2002, a total of 8 students (5 in Nov. 2001 and 3 in May 2002) succeeded in passing. In 2003, the figure increased to nine (2 in Nov. 2002 and 7 in May 2003). Recently CNU has acquired tremendous achievements in various state-run examinations. As the number of successful applicants for state-run examinations increases, students are full of confidence playing a key role in producing better test results. The passing students have increased as the years progressed. Taking charge of the class for the U.S. CPA exam, Prof. Wee June-bok said, \"CNU

We expect that we could receive higher results as time progresses like pushing a cart. Just start pushing and you gain speed progressively.\" ??Currently over thirty CNU students are working diligently for the CPA exam at the preparatory class for the AICPA exam.
