CNU is implementing the Technology Doctor System to support the development of the medical material field.

The CNU Biomedical Testing and Research Center (Director: Professor Park Sang-won, School of Dentistry) began the Technology Doctor System, which supports the certification and marketing process of biomedical materials as a part of the 2021 Certification and Marketing Support Project for Fostering the Digital Biomedical Field conducted by the center.

The Technology Doctor System appoints 17 experts in designated fields as technology doctors, selects companies to support, and visits companies to solve technical problems and support marketing processes where there are difficulties in opening new markets.
 
Currently, the center supports five companies for their preclinical trials for certification acquisition and another nine companies that have already acquired certification. In addition, it is supporting sixteen other companies, including four for clinical marketing and seven for product promotion projects.

These support programs include ▲ evaluations of potential harm for humans to secure the stability of synthetic bone graft prototypes, ▲ biological tests of titanium implants applied to the humerus tibia, and ▲ preclinical tests of EMS sleeves for DVT prevention capable of electric muscle stimulation.
