CNU’s degree conferment ceremony for the academic year of 2020 was held online at 11 a.m. on February 26th.

CNU replaced the 69th degree conferment ceremony by posting a video on the university's website and official YouTube channel.

On this day, 4,109 students were awarded degrees, including 3,251 undergraduate, 714 MA, and 144 doctoral degree students.

The online degree conferment ceremony began with the school’s status report through video, followed by a celebration speech by the president, congratulatory remarks by the president of the CNU Alumni, and an introduction by graduates with excellent academic achievements. Congratulatory videos from deans were also posted on the official website of CNU.

President Jung asked the graduates to “become proud and free alumni of CNU and take opportunities in the era of great transformation, even though the world is changing and looks chaotic.” He added, “It adversely can be an opportunity for those who can adapt to the changes. Persevere with brave hearts.”

He also appealed to alumni, local people, and national leaders, saying, "Please greet the graduates warmly and kindly, and teach them your experiences and wisdom."
