[Climate Protection Expert Training]

The 'Climate Protection Expert Training' was designed to help citizens respond to climate change and practice carbon neutrality. The program focused on understanding the causes and current situation of climate change and enhancing the capacity to participate in community climate response policies. The training, conducted from August to September 2022 through online video courses, included a comprehensive curriculum of theory and field visits. The 84 participants, including citizens, industry workers, and environmental groups, gained practical experience and learned about the importance of responding to climate change.

[Youth Climate Protection Expert Training]

The Youth Climate Protection Expert Training was conducted to cultivate young experts aiming to address climate crisis and promote lifestyle ESG actions and energy transition. The training was designed to develop talent needed by corporations and local governments, maximizing the educational impact by linking climate protection and future environmental jobs. Participants learned about climate change, Green New Deal policies, energy transition, and the role of youth. The satisfaction survey showed high approval, suggesting the training was beneficial for future career planning.

[Carbon Neutrality and Reduction Measures Seminar]

A seminar on carbon neutrality and reduction measures was held to respond to the 2050 carbon neutrality government policy and rapidly changing climate conditions. Discussions included the establishment of a CCU demonstration support center and dust control technology. The technology exchange is expected to complement other technologies and contribute to the development of the local environmental industry.

[Village Resource Circulation Guide Training]

The Village Resource Circulation Guide Training was conducted to enhance the health and preservation of the ecological environment and to boost residents' willingness to practice climate crisis and resource circulation. The training included both theoretical education and field visits to recycling facilities. As a result, 22 out of 30 participants completed the training, and 20 formed a resource circulation village waste monitoring group, expected to contribute to waste separation and carbon neutrality practice.

[ESG Briefing]

The 'ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Briefing' was a session to share domestic and international trends and strategies related to ESG, contributing to sustainable corporate management. The briefing, attended by 150 corporate employees, introduced the importance of ESG management and presented management cases from the Yeosu industrial complex. It served as an opportunity to enhance the understanding of social responsibility and eco-friendly management among regional companies.

[ESG Expert Training]

The 'ESG Expert Training (Basic)' was planned to recognize the importance of corporate social responsibility and eco-friendly management. The training covered concepts of ESG, response status, disclosure systems, evaluation, understanding, and application of ESG guidelines. The participants showed high satisfaction and re-participation intent. Advanced courses and detailed environmental training are planned for the future, expecting to cultivate experts who can disseminate ESG in daily life, business, and administration.

[Climate Environment Instructor Capacity Building Training]

The Climate Environment Instructor Capacity Building Training was organized to develop experts capable of addressing the climate crisis and to enhance the capabilities of activists in practicing climate crisis response. The training included the latest trends in environmental education, instructional design, and effective teaching methods. High satisfaction and re-participation intent were noted among participants. The training is expected to facilitate a shift in climate change awareness and disseminate the seriousness of climate issues to youths and citizens.
