Chonnam National University operates various welfare scholarship systems so that students can graduate without worrying about tuition.

The dormitories select new residents every first semester of each academic year, prioritizing low-income students and those who need social consideration.
 
Top priority selection: National Merit recipients, disabled students, children terminated from protection, recipients of the national basic living security, the next higher income bracket, and foreign students.
 
Also, through the "Sharing with the World Campaign," bedding sets were distributed to low-income students and those who require social consideration.
