Chonnam National University is committed to discovering potential entrepreneurs for job creation and nurturing start-up companies as an institution.

[Manufacturing Innovation Platform - "Mandulmaru"]
Mandulmaru at Chonnam National University is a "Manufacturing Innovation Platform" that serves as a cradle for creativity, creation, and entrepreneurship, helping to bring brilliant ideas to life. You can receive various making education to realize your ideas, and it is possible to make prototype products and small-scale production through the latest digital equipment and facilities. In addition, an effective support system has been established through collaboration with local entrepreneurship support organizations such as Gwangju Metropolitan City’s youth entrepreneurship programs and the on-campus business incubator center.

The employment rate of students who have completed the Creativity Enhancement (IdRealize-Up) program operated by Mandulmaru has exceeded the overall average employment rate of Chonnam National University by more than 20%p over the past three years, showing significant success in students' employment.

[Business Incubator Center]

Chonnam National University is an institution that supports the commercialization of the area expertise held by its students, researchers, and professors, and is committed to discovering potential entrepreneurs for job creation and nurturing start-up companies.

Main projects include: support for prototype production of student entrepreneurship items, operation and support for an entrepreneurship simulation room for student entrepreneurs, and discovery and nurturing of young entrepreneurs through linkage with local government projects.

[Events for Local Entrepreneurs]

Chonnam National University, in conjunction with Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, operated the "May First Neighborhood Flea Market" for two days in the Shinheung-ro area, a city regeneration project site in front of Chonnam National University. The event was a gathering of young entrepreneurs, startups, and residents.

The flea market was organized to provide a stable sales outlet for startups and idea factory companies with inadequate marketing capabilities and to offer opportunities for exploring new markets, aiming to revitalize the local stagnant business district.
